Ms Shades of Elegance 

 

The reigning Miss Shades of Elegance is Erika Wheeler.  Erika is the 19 year old native of Vicksburg, MS.   Erika is the daughter of Edward and Alberta Wheeler.  The Miss Shades of Elegance attended Vicksburg highschool where she graduated 5th among her class with a 4.09 GPA among 209 students.  Ms. Wheeler currently attends Alcorn State University where her major is Music Education with a minor in English.  Erika plans to become a elementary school teacher.  Erika's pageant platform is "Girls Beyond the Media" which focuses on helping young girls build true morals and values without the pressure of social media.
